NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Brookings City Council, Brookings, South Dakota, will hold a public hearing at 6:00 p.m., CST, Tuesday, May 9, 2023, in the Brookings City & County Government Center Chambers, 520 Third Street, to consider adoption of a revision to the City Code of Ordinances, entitled Ordinance 23-012, an Ordinance to change the Zoning within the City of Brookings from an Agriculture A District to a Residence R-3 Apartment District, described as the North Half of the Northwest Quarter (N1/2 N1/4) Excluding the North Three Hundred Sixty-Five Feet (Exc. N365’) and Excluding the East Six Hundred Fifty Feet (Exc. E650’) and Excluding the West One Thousand Six Hundred Feet (Exc. W1600’) and Excluding Substation Addition in Section One, Township One Hundred Nine North, Range Fifty West (Sec 1-T109N-R50W) and the West Three Hundred Ninety Feet (W390’) of the East One Thousand Forty Feet (E1040’) in the Southeast Quarter (SE1/4) in Section One, Township One Hundred Nine North, Range Fifty West (Sec 1-T109N-R50W).  At which time and place all persons interested will be given a full, fair and complete hearing thereon.  Dated in Brookings, South Dakota, this 28^th day of April, 2023.
