NOTICE OF ADOPTION
ORDINANCE 22-037, AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING ZONING REGULATONS AND A ZONING MAP FOR THE CITY OF BROOKINGS AND BROOKINGS COUNTY AREA OF JOINT ZONING AUTHORITY AND PROVIDING FOR THE ADMINISTRATION, ENFORCEMENT, AND AMENDMENT THEREOF, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF SDCL CHAPTERS 11-2, 11-4 AND 11-6, AND FOR THE REPEAL OF ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH.
Notice is hereby given that Ordinance 22-037, establishing zoning regulations and a zoning map for the City of Brookings and Brookings County Area Of Joint Zoning Authority and providing for the administration, enforcement, and amendment thereof, in accordance with the provisions of SDCL Chapters 11-2, 11-4 and 11-6, and for the repeal of all ordinances in conflict therewith., was duly adopted by the Brookings City Council on the 20th day of December, and will become effective on the 26th day of January 2023.

Finally, the zoning ordinance includes the Official Zoning Map, which designates the respective zoning districts for the City of Brookings and Brookings County Area of Joint Zoning Authority.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN, that Ordinance 22-037 an ordinance establishing zoning regulations and a zoning map for the City of Brookings and Brookings County Area Of Joint Zoning Authority and providing for the administration, enforcement, and amendment thereof, in accordance with the provisions of SDCL Chapters 11-2, 11-4 and 11-6, and for the repeal of all ordinances in conflict therewith is available for public inspection at the Brookings City & Count Government Center in the office of the City Clerk, during normal business hours. This Ordinance shall become effective twenty days after the last publication of this notice, which shall be published once a week for two successive weeks in the official newspaper thereby repealing all ordinance or parts thereof in conflict herewith unless a referendum is timely involved prior thereto.
