NOTICE OF HEARING

UPON CHANGES IN THE JOINT JURISDICTION AREA ZONING ORDINANCE 

FOR THE CITY OF BROOKINGS AND BROOKINGS COUNTY

            NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Brookings and Brookings County will hold a public hearing related to changes to the Official Joint Jurisdictional Zoning Map of the Joint Jurisdiction Area Zoning Ordinance for the City of Brookings and Brookings County. Copies of the map changes are available at the Brookings County Finance Office, Brookings County Zoning Office or online at:  www.brookingscountysd.gov .

            NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that said changes will be acted on by a joint meeting of the City of Brookings and Brookings County Planning Commission at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, in the Chambers Room on the third floor of the Brookings City & County Government Center at 520 Third Street, Brookings, South Dakota. Any action taken by the City Planning Com­mission is a recommendation to the City Council.

            Any person interested may appear and be heard in this matter.
