NOTICE TO BIDDERS

City Hay Land Lease, Brookings Regional Landfill

Sealed bids will be received by the City Council of Brookings, South Dakota, at the office of the City Clerk at the Brookings City & County Government Center, 520 3^rd Street, Suite 230, Brookings, South Dakota, until 9:00 AM, Thursday, May 19, 2022 for “Hay Land Lease.”  All bids will then be publicly opened and read.  

The bids are to lease approximately 26 acres of hay land located in the East ½ of Aamot Addition, Section 8-110-49.  Specifications and bidding blanks may be inspected and procured at the Brookings Regional Landfill Office, 4101 30^th Street, Brookings, South Dakota, 57006 or online at www.cityofbrookings-sd.gov .  Questions should be directed to Katie Stiegelmeier, Landfill Business Operations & Logistics Manager, at (605) 693-3667.  Bidders shall check for Addendums on the website. 

All bids must be signed and submitted in a sealed envelope and shall state on the left corner of the envelope, “City Hay Land Lease.”  Any bids received after the deadline will not be accepted.     

Bids may not be withdrawn within 45 days after the actual opening thereof.  The City of Brookings reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any and all bids.
