Brookings City Council

March 31, April 1-2, 2022

The Brookings City Council held a special retreat on March 31, April 1-2, 2022 at the Swiftel Center with the following City Council members present: Mayor Oepke Niemeyer, Council Members Leah Brink, Patty Bacon, Nick Wendell, Holly Tilton Byrne, Joey Collins, and Wayne Avery.  City Attorney Steve Britzman, City Manager Paul Briseno, and City Clerk Bonnie Foster were also present.

2018-2023 Strategic Plan.  The City Council received updates from the City’s Volunteer Boards, Committees, and Commissions, and held discussion on the City’s Housing Study results, future Brookings Development, Flood Prone Development, the City’s Budget and Capital Improvement Plan, and the City’s Strategic Plan.  No action was taken.

Retreat was adjourned at 11:56 a.m. on Saturday, April 2, 2022.
