The City of Brookings will be hosting a public open house on the upcoming Camelot Square Drainage Improvement Project. The public open house will provide information on Phase I of this project, which is scheduled for the 2012 construction season. Phase I of this construction project will involve installing a new storm sewer box culvert along the west side of Christine Avenue from 15th Street South to just north of King Arthur Court. The project will also involve new storm sewer pipe on 12th Street South from Christine Avenue to west of Yorktown Circle and new storm sewer pipe west of Christine Avenue connecting into the back yards between Hammond and Horner Avenues and Squire Court.

Where: City Hall Community Room (in basement), 311 3rd Avenue, Brookings, SDWhat time: 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM: open house with project drawings Consultants from Civil Design, Inc. and staff from the City Engineering Department will be available to describe the project. In addition, drawings will be available showing details of the project.
The City would like to invite any interested citizens and property owners to this Open House to learn more about the project. Property owners along the affected streets are encouraged to attend to learn about driveway access, trees, and other project questions.
