There are no longer any road closures or detours related to this project.
Project Milestones
Phase 1: Sidewalk Ramp Replacements and Curb Patches

• | Sidewalk ramps, fillets, and curb replacements at the intersections of Dakota Avenue and 20th Avenue. | |
• | Patch the asphalt around the new concrete and reopen the intersections at 20th Avenue and at Dakota Avenue to local traffic only. | |
| • | Remove and replace ramps, fillets, and curb at the intersections of State Avenue and 21st Avenue. These intersections will be completely closed during the work. | |
• | Patch the asphalt around the new concrete and reopen the intersections at State Avenue and 21st Avenue to local traffic only. |
Phase 2: Mill and Overlay

• | Mill the top 2 inches of asphalt off the road section. Local traffic will be intermittently disrupted throughout this day. | |
• | Adjust manholes and water valves as needed and prep the road surface. | |
• | Repave the top 2 inches of asphalt that was removed in the milling process. During the paving operations, traffic will be disrupted and homeowners may not be able to access their driveway for a couple of days. | |
• | Paint new street striping including center lanes, stop bars, and pedestrian crossings |
